Meet Tali Alexander, Author of Love in Rewind

"Nothing really to tell, what you see is what you get."

I am every woman out there that has fantasies in her head. I am a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, a wife, a lover, a mother, and a friend. I happen to also be a Doctor of Pharmacy and a business owner by day, and now a writer by night. Writing and reading help me escape the scary world we live in. I hope my stories help readers experience many different emotions and ultimately, I hope I make them smile...

Writing keeps me sane. I hope reading does the same for you. (Amazon)

BBB: What inspired you to become an author?

TA:
I started writing because it was the natural thing for me to do. I guess it was always there for me but I just wasn’t ready for it. This was my time to pursue what fate had in store for me all along. I write because it’s my purpose, my calling, my refuge… my destiny.

BBB: How did you come up with the idea for Love in Rewind?

TA:
I remember it was an early March morning. I was lying alone on the Cariblue beach in St. Lucia. It was secluded and quiet. The only real sound was coming from the waves. I had my mini iPad in front of me. I was getting ready to start reading a new book and all the sudden it happened. My head was inundated with images of this beautiful girl named Emily. I knew it was all in my head but it was so vivid I had to write it down before it all evaporated.

BBB: Tell us about your main character?

TA:
When the readers meet Emily Marcus she's already Emily Bruel, wife for ten years, mother of two. Emily is sad, alone and lost. She starts to rewind her life back to the beginning of her love affair with her husband, Louis Bruel, and we listen to her side of the story. I hope that when you read my book, you too will fall in love with her as I did on that March morning in paradise.

BBB: Do you ever get writer's block?

TA:
No, I don't get writer's block. For me it's the difficulty of trying to shut everything around me off to be able to quietly hear the characters talk.

BBB: What are you currently working on?

TA:
I'm currently working on book II in the AUDIO FOOLS series, which is a continuation of LOVE IN REWIND. This will be Sara's (Emily's best friend) love story.

BBB: How can readers discover more about you and your work?

TA:
