My Review

Picture
If You Were Me and Lived In ... Israel is an engaging and educational picture book that introduces readers to the culture and traditions of the people of Israel.

I have to say that I really enjoy this series. There is so much to be learned about other cultures, even for adults. I never realized that people in Israel read and write from right to left, unlike most cultures that read from left to right. I am also anxious to take a dip in the Dead Sea since it contains no living creatures of any kind!

Well written and filled with valuable knowledge, If You Were Me and Lived In ... Israel is the perfect edition to any classroom or homeschool library. I also, like how the author chooses to use actual photos overlayed with illustrations so readers can get a realistic glimpse of places around the country. The glossary at the end helps clarify new terms and instills learning.

I highly recommend picking up a copy as well as checking out the rest of the books in this fantastic series.
