About the Book

Picture
Title: Dad the Dog and The Evil Scientist
Author: Ian Webster
Illustrator: Paul Winward
Genre: Children's Adventure/Humor
Number of Pages: 98
Synopsis: Welcome to a world where the mayor is chosen from a tombola at the island’s fair, wind turbines are tuned to play classical music as they turn and taxis are zoomed around the island by racing drivers. A brave nine year old girl and her special canine companion must undertake the most daring heist in the island's history and do battle with the evil Dr Oodleboodledoo in order to save the world as we know it. Oh yes and watch out for the poo flinging monkeys . . . This is a story of intrigue, drama, suspense and lots of silliness.

My Review

Picture
Dad the Dog and The Evil Scientist is the zany adventures of a dog named Dad and his energetic sidekick, Tiana.

Filled with quirky and colorful characters like the wacky and evil Dr. Oodleboodledoo and the eccentric Michael McMerryberry, Dad the Dog and The Evil Scientist is a hilarious tale. Readers will be drawn into the biggest heist in Spartan Hills' history and will be eager to join the quest to save the world from the sloth bees.

I found the story to be highly entertaining with an original storyline that keeps readers engaged. Kids will get a kick out of the wild scenes that play out as Dad and Tiana undertake their important mission. Can they save the world?

I recommend picking up a copy. Available on Amazon.
