Book Review

Dobbin and the Stardust Trail is an enchanting and heartwarming story about a very special horse who, together with his friends, help a little girl in need.

Dobbin comes to life each night in the dreams of his friend Diana. Diana and Dobbin ride the stardust trail to the Heavenly Pasture where many other horses roam. Diana meets a small horse named Sparkle. Sparkle is very sad because she has not been summoned to the dreams of her friend Sarah. Diana vows to find out what has happened to Sarah. She soon learns that Sarah is very sick and needs strength so her body can heal. Can Sparkle help save Sarah?

Dobbin and the Stardust Trail is a creative and charming tale that will grasp the hearts of children. The illustrations are colorful and capture the beauty of the Heavenly Pasture and all of the amazing horses that inhabit this magical place.

I recommend picking up a copy. Available at Amazon.com.

I would say 5-7 year olds although younger children could enjoy it as well, but it may be a bit long for some.

Horse stories are such a hit with kids, even young ones. My grandson loves them. I really like the mane on this horse. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing on the Kid Lit Blog Hop. Cheryl, Hop Hostess
