My Review

Lionel just has to go to Camp Bonine this summer and he hopes all his begging and pleading has convinced his mom to send him. After a wish made to the Walbaun reveals more clues about his dad, Lionel is certain camp will bring him closer to finding out the truth. But, when Lionel learns Tad Winters is his bunk mate he knows it will take more than just the magical Three-Toed-Potbellied Walbaun to survive.
Creative and well written readers will delight in Lionel's latest grand adventure. The crazy wishes granted by the Walbaun foot are hilariously mixed up, but somehow always end up working out for Lionel. His wishes lead him to clues about his dad and help him defeat a back stabbing bully, but it's his resourcefulness, honesty, and ability to be a good friend that help Lionel achieve the highest honor a camper can achieve. Lionel Goes To Camp is an all around great read.
