Sid is a tiny ant who feels invisible in the eyes of the other ants in his colony. Sid decides he will prove his small stature doesn't matter and that he can do anything the others can do. He joins the march and follows the ants over the hill. Soon heavy rains cause them to seek shelter, but when they find safety none of the ants can squeeze through the tiny hole to open the entrance. What will they do?
March of the Ants is the first audio book I have reviewed and I found it absolutely charming. Set to music and told in a quick tempo the story is instantly captivating. The use of different voices for the characters also adds to the thrill of this adventure. The story teaches children that they can accomplish big things when they put their mind to it.
March of the Ants is a free download available from Music Audio Stories. You can find out more about their books by visiting www.musicaudiostories.com.
