My Review

I am a big fan of nuts, especially pecans, and knew they were a healthy snack. I was anxious to read this nonfiction book for kids about this very topic. I am excited to say that I learned a great deal. The author lists the specific vitamins and minerals contained in certain nuts encouraging parents and children alike to enjoy them as a delicious snack. I also like the author's fun facts that give children more insight about nuts and the photos help readers identify each tasty morsel.
Nuts About Nuts is an all around great read. Any story that can encourage children to make healthy choices is well worth the read, in my opinion. I recommend picking up a copy.
