My Review

One day Quack the Duck decides to go exploring and when Quack bumps into Daisy the Cat the two become fast friends. They spend the rest of the day having fun together, but when they arrive home their families tell them their friendship just won't work. What will Quack and Daisy do?
This is such a sweet story about accepting others, differences and all, to build a beautiful friendship. Simple text and engaging illustrations will easily capture a young reader's attention. Children will fall in love with the darling characters and parents will love the message the story conveys.
I highly recommend picking up a copy of Quack and Daisy.
About the Author

The fact that I chose to write about farm animals is directly related to the fact that my childhood friend lived on a farm. It was a magical place to visit and the place where I became a big fan of chickens and gathering eggs. The characters and events in Fern Valley are loosely based on people I knew and events my brother and I experienced growing up.
I also have many loves besides writing. I love to travel, I love to bird-watch, and I love to bake. I love to craft, play board games, attend auctions, take photographs, do book reviews, flower garden, and volunteer at the library.
