For a while, I stayed in the room with the body. The TV set was on. President Clintonâs face filled the screen. He was taking questions from reporters and they seemed to be having a heated exchange. The sound on the TV was turned off.
I couldnât stop looking at the corpse. What had I done?
When I couldnât stand it anymore I went into the kitchen. My heart jumped around in my chest like it wanted to leap out and flop around on the floor.
