Newly divorced, Remy Galway is trying to putt her life back together after a devastating divorce. Remy and her young daughter Olivia move into Captain Eli's old house not realizing he still calls the place home. Strange things begin to happen and Remy swears she's being watched. Is the Captain out to get her or is there a more sinister plan at play?
The After House is a fantastic read. The author's use of vivid detail draws readers into the imaginative world he creates and the array of colorful characters give the story credibility. The author seemlessly switches from past to present allowing readers to discover the life of Captain Eli as well as what's keeping him stuck in the present. My heart ached for the unimaginable loss the Captain suffered and I longed fro Remy to find the happiness she deserved. This is a beautiful story of second chances and a love as deep as the ocean.
