About the Author

Having studied Fine Arts in Lisbon, he moved to USA in 2005 to fully dedicate himself to writing. He currently lives with his wife and dog in Oyster Bay, New York, right next to the national park Sagamore Hill, the famous home of President Theodore Roosevelt.
In addition to writing, also enjoys cooking, gardening, and sailing. He has used elements of his own personal life as inspiration for his epic debut poem, The Book of All Lovers. The beautiful Rose of Sharon from the poem can be found in his home office.
