Synopsis: Mocha says it’s bedtime, but Petri wants nothing to do with it! Reading books, singing lullabies and juggling plates are only a few of the things Mocha does in an attempt to tire his son out. Although Petri is entertained, he still refuses to sleep. He just wants to dilly dally! Worn out by his son’s shenanigans and silly antics, will Mocha ever get Petri to bed before losing his marbles?
My Review
It's time for bed and Mocha has tried everything to tire Petri out, but the only one exhausted enough to sleep is Mocha. Will Petri ever go to bed?
Young readers will find humor in Petri's silly antics and parents will be able to identify with Mocha's bedtime battle. I love the engaging illustrations, that utilize actual photos and real gerbils. This creative idea adds so much to this already entertaining tale.
I recommend picking up a copy of Gerbs in the House: Dilly Dally Bedtime Routine. Available on Amazon.
