~Written by Marci Fair

Juggling work and family has never seemed more possible than in Marci Fair’s parenting guide, TILT. It was written out of the difficult struggles and unexpected answers that Fair has found on her journey through the TILT of life, work, and motherhood.
A working mother of four children, Fair shares her decades of insight in an enlightening way that weaves in quotes from her children along with more than one hundred practical, guilt-free parenting tips for the challenges working mothers face. Fair shows how mothers can live imperfectly on purpose. She inspires them to determine what matters the most for themselves and their families, and then to focus on what lasts beyond childhood.
The wisdom of more than eighty other working mothers also demonstrates how moms can grow through their journeys to find happiness and success along the way. Balance is impossible; Fair teaches us how to TILT instead.
She encourages that helping our children dream, without giving up on ours, sets an important parenting leadership example. Through TILT, we learn how to choose, in the nucleus of our families, to set the example by shining our own light, so we can love, guide, and empower those little lights we brought into this world. TILT: 7 Solutions To Be A Guilt-Free Working Mom is like a breath of fresh air for moms everywhere. The book reminds us that we are not alone in our doubts, failures, and successes. It celebrates the tough choices we as moms make everyday and lets us know it's okay to have dreams of our own and to pursue those dreams without regret.
As a mom of four myself, I have worked inside and outside of the home and experienced much of the guilt addressed in TILT. I have struggled to find balance and even lost myself deep in motherhood, leaving my own dreams on the back shelf covered in dust. I have been a stay-at-home mom for more than 16 years, a choice that was difficult and rewarding at the same time, and one I would not change. When my youngest child started school I felt lost and without purpose. It was then I realized I didn't know what to do if I wasn't mothering someone 24 hours a day. I felt alone and depressed, until my husband reminded me that I had to rediscover who I was. Armed with this great advice, I began teaching art to children once a month, volunteering with reading groups in the school, created this website, and started writing children's books.
When I read TILT, I felt as though Marci wrote this book just for me. Her wonderfully written story speaks to our emotions and lets us experience those emotions without guilt. Whether you have a career outside of the home, work from home, or are a stay-at-home mom, TILT will inspire and encourage you to pursue your choices with strength.
I highly recommend picking up TILT: 7 Solutions To Be A Guilt-Free Working Mom. Available on Amazon.

After graduating from Southern Methodist University, Marci Fair pursued a successful and fast-paced real estate career in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, all the while being a mother to four. They built real estate businesses that have been ranked at the top in the US. In 2005, Marci fulfilled one of her lifelong dreams and started a non-profit for kids in need - Kares 4 Kids.
Kares 4 Kids has since served over 15,000 children, through backpacks and school supplies, food for local children in need, summer camp sponsorships, holiday gift cards to overlooked teens and much more. Marci's experience in her professional and personal life led her to write TILT to help other working mothers understand that there is no perfect balance between career and home. She teaches parenting tips and solutions on how they can TILT instead and find happiness and success along their own journeys. (Amazon)
